The 2nd full-length album, Light Will Remain, is an immense work that represents the band at a creative apex. This 52 minute song cycle is an evocative document of the art of memory and the evolving significance of events through time and orbit. The desire to illuminate and darken aspects of our psychic apparatus based on the indeterminate verity of belief and sense drives this collection of narratives in song. Peaks of crushing psychedelic metal are buried under ebbs of seasick chords and gently whirring vibraphone. A stoic black hole guitar and bass maw repels celestial debris of processed percussion and voice towards the horizon. The band forges sound like aural filmmakers evoking waves of synaesthetic images.

Track Name: Copernicus: apogee
there was something i thought
but now i forget
something significant
i get distracted by stars
i lose focus too easy
faces lose their shapes
light meets shade
through crack of broken lens

some days
everything i see makes me want to cry
and that's when i turn to my telescope
it tells me the paths of mars and venus
are stored up inside of my spine

unwound nickel
refracted lens
i await these visions alone
splitting clouds
halley's coming home
let's bake a cake and watch the sky fall

i should have paid much more attention
but i ain't a believer
now i can see parallel lines
of spines and scopes and terrors inside
just could you tell me
please could you show me the signs
i wonder how do the orbits remember their lines
and how did the sun know the earth was one?

let's walk up these heights
let the rocks fall off the side
i see the moon focus your face
i want to remember you this way

by demons be driven

i wish that i knew what i know now
Track Name: Copernicus: perigee
no one knows a star
no one knows the stars
you couldn't explain
why moons can go astray
and comets know to come home
watch the stars
they never go away

wake the sun and close the light

untuned dagger
entropic swell
waiting only makes it hurt more
and leaving your gun under the pillow
won’t make me go away

no one doubts a star
no one doubts the stars
close the light and leave it inside
this constellation had a dream tonight

i cracked my lens after what you said
i put the moon on your soft skin
we took this star
we watched the sky
look away from the light
remember when i said,
i don't know anything about astronomy?

no one doubts a star
no one doubts the stars
wake the sun
hold it inside
let the light sleep in our bed tonight
Track Name: The Fifth Wizard
Sangre Hirviendo. Hirviendo Sangre.
Track Name: We Speak to the Revelator
should a week among the races
proud as though we make a face to
while away beneath a halo of stars

ask the traces out the weeks
and force the wake of toothless seekers
watch appall the waste in their arms

is my name in your breath?

i follow a trail through the dark

that way i'll know
my words were blank
i chased your ghost
we walked through walls
i've locked the door
lets go to sleep

earth shades
mark the place
we once lay
summoned forth and turned away
memories fade
and all erased
light has stayed
but your name
was not replaced

in the wake of the dead
i'll remember your name
never forget
a light will remain
i won't leave you lying there
without a key
the door was left unlocked
to keep you safe
out of the rain
from the cold words they will say
that's all i wanted
i meant no harm
Track Name: Reseda: books of blood
who are you? why did you do this to me?

a grail is set upon the moonlight casting down
the place we set upon your eye
this room is much too small for what we had in mind
we’ve got a secret that can't wait one more day
the moon is dark, wait
the moon is dark, face the sky

oh why had they never told you?

oh, the subduction
enveloped within waves of rock
blindfold now removed
imbued sickness is not forgot
to forgive these faults
the seams of the earth will one day conceal them all
welcomed cracking plates
we are all well beyond the dawn
used to be such beautiful cities
now just an inherited fall
listing in water
myopic and gone too far
lyell’s misfortune
impatient with glacial rock

tonight set sail for andromeda

save yourself, save your sister
point that gun away from me
and back at the alien voices who terrorize you

face the sky, light the clouds
close your eyes, give me your hand
turn these pages of archangelic heresies & books of blood

who are you? why did you do this to me?
repeat the spell that parts the veil upon your words
